  • Does every comic come with a bag and board?
    Absolutely! Our bags and boards are made from acid free, archival quality materials.
  • Are all your comics in Mint condition?
    Not always. Please check the description of each book on it's product page. Grading involves a degree of subjectivity. We use the ONE (Overstreet Numerical Equivalency) grading system when determining the condition of each book and assigning it a grade.
  • Do you buy comic book collections?
    Yes! We love acquiring books and we purchase collections of all sizes. If you have comics you'd like to sell, please contact us at purchasing@mrhowards.com
  • What exactly are the "curiosities" you speak of?
    Oh, they can be all sorts of things! Everything from vintage bits and bobbles to paper ephemera to contemporary artworks and unusual crafts. We are lucky to know a number of both artists and treasure hunters who often drop by with interesting things to share. We are a friend and family run operation so you might even be lucky enough to find something special made by our kids or neighbors. We like to imagine our curios are things Mr. Howard would enjoy - they often have a bit of Sword and Sorcery flair.   • What payments do you accept?
    We accept PayPal and all major credit cards.
  • What about returns?
    As a rule, we do not accept returns on comic books or paper ephemera (e.g., trading cards, vintage photographs, vintage zines). We specialize in pre-owned, condition-sensitive, and often one-of-a-kind items. We try our best to describe our products accurately, package them securely, and ship them straight away. Please inspect the items you ordered promptly upon receiving them and contact us within a day if you are not satisfied with your order. We want to evaluate the issue and make it right.
  • How do you ship?
    We take great care in packaging your purchases. We ship USPS Priority Mail which includes tracking and delivery in 1 - 3 business days.
  • Do you ship internationally?
    No, we do not ship internationally at this time. However, if you are outside the US and have a special request, please send us an email at help@mrhowards.com
